TOWSON, MD January 22, 2024 – DEWALT, a Stanley Black & Decker (NYSE: SWK) brand and leader in total jobsite solutions, today unveiled its latest products for plumbers, pipefitters and HVACR technicians at AHR Expo in Chicago. New tools added to DEWALT’s system of trade solutions include a 20V MAX* XR® 1-1/2 IN. PEX Expander (DCE410), 20V MAX* Copper Swage Tool (DCE450), Compact IPS Press Jaws kit (DCE212K) and IMPACT CONNECT™ Inside Pipe Cutter (DWAIPCIR).

20V MAX* XR® 1-1/2 IN. PEX EXPANDER
The 20V MAX* XR® 1-1/2 IN. PEX Expander (DCE410) is the industry’s lightest cordless pro-grade solution for expanding 1-1/4 IN. and 1-1/2 IN. PEX pipe** and provides up to 20% faster speed of expansion than the Milwaukee® 2632 M18 PEX Expander1. The tool is capable of expanding 3/8 IN. - 1-1/2 IN. expansion-type PEX, including Uponor® ProPEX® tubing.
Other tool features include an auto-rotating head mechanism for even expansion surfaces, a long trigger design, an LED light, a side-mounted hang hook, as well as CHIP-READY™ pocket to pair with a TOOL CONNECT™ Chip for seamless inventory management (Tool Connect™ Chip DCE042 sold separately).
The DCE410P1 kit includes 1 IN., 1-1/4 IN. and 1-1/2 IN. expansion heads and is compatible with existing DEWALT 3/8 IN. – 1 IN. expansion heads (sold separately).
20V MAX* COPPER SWAGE TOOL
The 20V MAX* Copper Swage Tool (DCE450) is a soft copper expansion tool for HVACR professionals, efficiently producing even expansions in seconds. Designed to swage 1/4 IN. to 1-5/8 IN. soft and annealed copper, the swage tool is designed to increase efficiency of HVACR installations by reducing the number of copper fittings and brazed joints needed to finish the job. The tool features auto rotating expansion heads that produce swages suitable for brazing as well as a steel body and nickel-plated steel jaws for durability.
The DCE450D1 kit comes with six expansions heads organized in a durable blow molded kitbox.
1/2 IN. – 1 IN. COMPACT IPS PRESS JAWS KIT
Designed for use with the DEWALT® 20V MAX* Compact Press Tool (DCE210—sold separately) the 1/2 IN. to 1 IN. DEWALT Compact IPS (iron pipe size) Press Jaws kit (DCE212K) is ideal for connecting carbon steel fitting systems to black iron pipe. Engineered to achieve optimal distribution of force while maintaining a high level of durability throughout the life of the product, the compact series jaws feature a galvanized coating to help defend against corrosion. DEWALT® IPS press jaws are compatible with most professional-grade carbon steel press fitting systems including Viega Megapress®, Apollo Powerpress® and Mueller® Streamline® carbon steel.
The DCE212K kit includes 1/ IN., 3/4 IN. and 1 IN. IPS jaw sizes.
IMPACT CONNECT™ INSIDE PIPE CUTTER
The IMPACT CONNECT™ Inside PVC Pipe Cutter (DWAIPCIR) is the latest addition to the DEWALT IMPACT CONNECT™ line, a specialized line of attachments that quickly convert select impact drivers2 into fast and powerful cutting tools. Designed with a durable diamond grit3 cutting edge that delivers 10X longer life4, this versatile accessory leverages the power of an existing impact driver to cut 2X faster4 on tough plumbing jobs. The attachment features a mechanically fixed blade for blade retention, a corrosion resistant barrel, a laser-etched depth gauge and a 1/4 IN. hex shank.

- DEWALT POWERSHIFT™ Core Drill: Part of the new groundbreaking equipment system designed to optimize the workflow of jobsites through electrification, the core drill is powered by a 554 WH DEWALT POWERSHIFT™ battery and designed for high-performance cordless coring with core bits up to 6-3/8 IN. Included in the DEWALT PERFORM & PROTECT™ line of tools, the drill features anti-rotation technology to prevent over rotation in a bind up situation.
- DEWALT PressACR® Compact Press Jaws (DCE214K): Designed for use with the DEWALT® 20V MAX* Compact Press Tool (DCE210—sold separately) to make refrigeration connections using NIBCO's PressACR® press fittings.
